What is an Online Torch Light?

An online torch light (also called a screen flashlight or browser flashlight) is a free browser-based tool that instantly transforms your device screen into a bright light source, or uses your mobile device's physical camera LED flash. With a single click, you can get maximum brightness — no app download, no account, and no hardware required.

Key Modes

Camera LED Flash (Mobile)

Utilizes your device's physical back-camera LED flashlight (where supported, primarily on Android and desktop browsers supporting the web API) to produce incredibly bright light.

Full White Screen (Torch Mode)

Fills the entire screen with pure white, maximising brightness for the best possible illumination when on a laptop or device where LED flash isn't available. The surrounding UI is hidden so every pixel contributes to the light output.

SOS Mode

Flashes the international Morse-code SOS signal (··· --- ···) in bright white — perfect for emergency signalling when you need help.

Strobe Mode

Rapidly alternates between black and white at an adjustable rate, creating a strobe-light effect useful for parties or visual effects.

Privacy & Security

This tool runs entirely in your browser. No data or network requests are sent. If using the Camera Flash mode, you must explicitly grant camera permission so the browser can activate the LED; however, no photos or videos are actually recorded or processed.

Technical Details

The tool uses the MediaDevices API constraints (torch: true) to activate physical LED flashes, and the Screen Brightness API / Fullscreen API for screen-based modes. All animations are implemented with vanilla JavaScript and CSS for instant, smooth performance.
